Hope in the Waiting
“Waiting is not wasted time when God is in it.”
Today's verse
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles.”
Isaiah 40:31
We are not good at waiting. We refresh, we scroll, we fill the silence. But some of the most important things God does in us happen in the in-between — the season where the answer has not come yet.
Isaiah says those who wait on the Lord renew their strength. Not those who wait for an outcome — those who wait on Him. The difference matters. One is passive. The other is a posture of trust.
If you are waiting for something today, you are in good company. Abraham waited. David waited. Mary waited. And God was faithful to each of them, in His time.
