Made on Purpose
“You are not an accident. You were made with intention, for good work prepared in advance.”
Today's verse
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
The word Paul uses for 'workmanship' is the word we get 'poem' from. You are God's poem — composed, not thrown together. Every line intentional.
Purpose in Scripture is rarely a grand, dramatic mission. It is usually the good work in front of you: the neighbor, the child, the task, the conversation. God prepared these things in advance. Your job is to walk in them.
If you are asking 'What is my purpose?', try asking a smaller question: 'What good work is in front of me today?' Purpose is found one faithful step at a time.

A prayer
Father, thank You for making me on purpose. Open my eyes to the good works You have prepared, and give me the faith to walk in them. Amen.
